 Greetings from Jin H. Kwon – Head trainer of Golden Hill Riding Academy It is my pleasure to welcome all of you riders and would-be riders in the future. Golden Hill Riding Academy, established in July 2002, has been a fixture in Los Angeles Equestrian Center (LAEC) for the past 8 ½ years. Los Angeles Equestrian Center was built in the late 70’s to accommodate international competitors and organizers of Los Angeles Olympic Games of 1984, and it boasts the state-of-the-art facilities for horse boarding, training, and competition of all levels and styles of horseback riding. Located in Burbank, Golden Hill Riding Academy has benefited from its proximity to downtown and the metro area of Los Angeles, attracting a variety of clientele all over the city. Our clients also enjoy the affordability of and accessibility to the many top-level shows that are hosted by LAEC every year, as the Center hosts more than 14 shows annually including 3 international shows and Grand Prix. At Golden Hill, there are two assistant trainers who help me out with giving lessons to beginner to advanced –level riders in English-style Show Jumping. Everyone at Golden Hill first starts out with basics of ridership, and advance into competitive levels of show jumping. With my background in riding into Olympic games, our advanced riders would enjoy training with me in high-level English Show Jumping. My assistants, on the other hand, would take the riders with less experiences to their first equitation shows, and hunter jumper shows. So, all levels of riders can come and sign up to receive individually structured training, and become a better rider.
